In case you weren’t aware, Europe has gone through some changes in its lifetime. Land has changed hands time and time again in the constant struggle for a foothold on civilization. There’s no way to know the whole story from this one video, but it gives you a good idea of the consistent changes in who was in control. You see empires rise and fall, countries pop up out of nowhere, expand, and sometimes disappear. If you consider yourself an expert on certain events, like the division of Germany or the Yugoslav wars, or something that happened much earlier in time, then these parts will be very obvious to you, while others might completely slip you by. Not a lot can be learned from this video alone, but it sure is an interesting way of looking at it.
